There was no stopping Sandeep Fernandes as he netted a fine hat-trick in Falcon FCs convincing 3-0 win against Jet Airways in a Division-II match of the Mumbai District Football Association league at the St Xaviers ground,Parel on Tuesday evening.

The opportunistic striker made the most of every opportunity that came his way,and knocked the stuffing out of the Jet Airways defense. Fernandes drew first blood in the 18th minute and added two more in the 43rd and 58th minutes to complete his feat and complete the rout.

In a Division-III play-off encounter,Millat FC defeated V-Care by an identical 3-0 margin. Millat were given a positive start with Farmaan Khan hitting the target in the very third minute of the match. Billal Khan doubled the tally with a strike in the 23rd minute before Farhad Khadri rounded off the tally in the 48th minute.
