Raj Thackeray at Shivaji Park rally: Ram temple was possible because of Modi

The MNS has not fielded any candidate in this Lok Sabha elections. But it has given unconditional support to Mahayuti.

The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena president Raj Thackeray on Friday said the construction of Ram temple was possible because of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Raj Thackeray also shared the dais with PM Narendra Modi at the rally in Shivaji Park during the day.

While admitting that several bold decisions were possible because of Modi’s leadership, he also praised PM for abrogation of Article 370 and ending triple-talaq.

Addressing the gathering, Raj Thackeray submitted his wish list for people of Maharashtra to Modi. It included according Marathi language classical status which has been pending for long.

Out of nearly 1,000 years’ rule in the country, 125 years have seen Maratha rule. The Maratha empire history should be introduced in school syllabus. An international committee shall be constituted to restore and preserve the forts which depicted the history and culture during Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The completion of Mumbai-Goa Highway was raised by Thackeray. He urged PM to reassure people that the government will not change Indian Constitution. While there are Muslim deshbhakts, there are just a handful ones who are traitors. The government should deal with these handful traitors firmly, he said.

The MNS has not fielded any candidate in this Lok Sabha elections. But it has given unconditional support to Mahayuti.

Apart from Shivaji Park rally, Raj Thackeray had earlier addressed a rally at Kalyan for Shrikant Shinde who is sitting Shiv Sena ( MP) from Kalyan. He is the son of CM Eknath Shinde.

Raj Thackeray, while refraining from mentioning INDIA bloc, said, “Why should one waste time speaking on Sharad Pawar, Uddhav Thackeray when they are not coming to power.”
