Powai gets Elbo-d

The Elbo Room in Khar,established on 09.09.09,has a convenient location off Linking Road,but it doesn’t have much to offer in terms of indoor space. Hopefully,the pub’s new outlet in Hiranandani Gardens,Powai,will have enough room to shake a leg and jab an elbow. Because it will be taking over the property in Galleria that was occupied by Mocha until October 1.

With more room to play with,the new Elbo Room will feature pretty much same food and drinks menu and theme of music. The difference will be the afternoon service,which will concentrate on the area’s thriving coffee culture with the option of alcohol for those who don’t mind drinking in the afternoon. This apart,there will not be a fully functional outside area. “Powai has a large population that goes out for coffee in the afternoon. So we will serve a variety of coffees during the day and,at night,we will go for the same vibe as the one in Khar,” said Nicolo Morea,Director of AfterHours Hospitality that runs the pub.

Elbo Room in Powai is slated to open in mid-November and our bet is on 11.11.11.
