‘First vote, don’t miss’ campaign

Congress leader-turned-independent MLC Satyajeet Tambe has launched a state-wide initiative ‘Pehla Mat, Chuko Mat’ (First Vote, Don’t miss) in order to combat the low voter turnout in Maharashtra in the Lok Sabha elections targeting first-time voters.

After receiving a missed call on hotline 7997006963, Tambe will be calling selected numbers to discuss voters’ concerns. An independent MLC is encouraging voters to pick a side, but will he do the same in near future?
