Mumbai police review Salman Khan’s security after Lawrence Bishnoi issues another threat

Bishnoi made the threat in a Facebook post addressed to Punjabi singer-actor Gippy Grewal while claiming responsibility for the shots fired outside Grewal's Canada residence.

In March this year, Bishnoi had allegedly sent threatening mail to Salman Khan.

The Mumbai police reviewed the security provided to actor Salman Khan and asked him to be alert following another threat by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The gangster made the threat in a Facebook post addressed to Punjabi singer-actor Gippy Grewal while claiming responsibility for the shots fired outside Grewal’s Canada residence in the early hours of Sunday.

A senior officer said, “Following the threat, a review was conducted of the actor’s security to ensure there are no loopholes. We have also reached out to him and told him to be alert and discussed a few things with regards to his security.” The actor currently enjoys Y plus security.

On Sunday, Bishnoi addressed Gippy and wrote on Facebook, “You consider Salman Khan a brother, but now it’s time for your ‘brother’ to come and save you. This message is also for Salman Khan – don’t be in the illusion that Dawood will save you; no one can save you. Your dramatic response to Sidhu Moose Wala’s death did not go unnoticed. We all know the kind of person he was and the criminal associations he had… You’ve now landed on our radar. Consider this a trailer; the full film will be released soon. Flee to any country you wish, but remember, death doesn’t require a visa; it comes uninvited.”

In March this year, Bishnoi had allegedly sent threatening mail to Salman Khan. The Mumbai police beefed up security outside his residence back then and registered a case.
