Mumbai’s iconic Liberty Cinema,which has opened its doors to musical and cultural events,and had hosted its first theatrical play last month,will host a musical brunch this Sunday.

Mumbai’s iconic Liberty Cinema,which has opened its doors to musical and cultural events,and had hosted its first theatrical play last month,will host a musical brunch this Sunday. It is the first in a series of monthly events planned by music network Indigo Live. Music Matinee features an art exhibition,a cheese and wine brunch,and a blues tribute gig by several Mumbai artistes including Warren Mendonsa,Shefali Alvares,Nigel Rajaratnam and Siddharth Basrur. At Rs 2,000 per person,sounds like a nice combo deal of art and food.

On October 28,Liberty Cinema,Marine Lines from 11.30am to 4.30pm

Laugh out Loud

IT”S time for some hysterical laughter as India’s popular comedy company,East India Comedy,brings some of India’s best English comedians to National Centre for Performing Arts. Headed by Sorabh Pant,EIC features some of India’s finest comedians — Kunal Rao,Sapan Verma and Sahil Shah. The show will also feature Aditi Mittal and Abish Mathew.

On October 27,at Godrej Dance Theatre,8pm onwards
