Festival time
THIRTY-YEAR-OLD Yatri theatre group is rolling out a nine-day long festival at Prithvi Theatre from today with Choomantar. The festival features a mixed bag of plays-comedies,family dramas and children’s play. Choomantar is about 60-year-old Daulat Seth who thinks his grandson’s fiancé is none other than his first wife reincarnated. On Sunday,Chinta Chhod Chintamani tells the story of a family where the father thinks his progenies are standing at the threshold of total ruination. On weekdays,theatre-goers can watch Kaal Chakra,Gaj Foot Inch,Hey Bhagwan and Had Kar Di Apne.

Poetry on stage
TROUBADOUR,a one-man show enacted by Salim Ghouse,is back on Mumbai stage this weekend. Based on the writings of Melvlana Jalaluddin Rumi,this play celebrates life with all its joys,sorrows and ironies. It has own acclaims at several international theatre festivals.
