Mumbai beat
Artist Shahid Datawala has titled his photo exhibition Where the City Rests and it’s titled aptly for the series consists of a sequence of black-and-white photographs of ordinary and recognisable city centres. These have been reduced by the prolific photographer to a stage set piece which distinguishes itself from other everyday objects and how these objects have long since established their own set places in their respective landscapes.
