After Pune and Goa the next venue for a weekend filled with music and parties is Coorg in Karnataka. The venue for the Storm Festival scheduled to be held from January 20-21 is 5,000 feet above sea level. Hailed as Indias most authentic camp-out music festival,the two-day event encourages fans to trek to the location. Priced at Rs 2,500 for two days,visitors will also be given the option to camp out at an additional cost of Rs 700. Organised by Bangalore-based event company,Liquidspace Entertainment,Storm Festival 2011 will feature bands,DJs and unplugged jamming sessions on-the-go. The artistes and bands lined up for the first edition comprise Raghu Dixit,Airport,Indian Ocean,Soulmate,Swarathma and Leslie Lewis,among others. The weekend will also see popular DJs such as Nikhil Chinappa,Pearl,Anoop Adsolute,Dale Anderson and Anil Chawla spinning some great music. Set in the hills,this festival is also making a pitch for a green music experience.
