MNS members protest,held

Nearly 15 members of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena including MLA Bala Nandgaonkar were arrested by the Marine Drive police for attempting to protest outside the Marine Plaza Hotel in south Mumbai — where members of the Pakistan Judicial Commission are currently residing. Police said the protesters were nabbed when they gathered outside the hotel to raise slogans. “They did not have the permission. We have charged them under Section 37 (135) of the Bombay Police Act,” Deputy Commissioner of Police Dilip Sawant,who currently holds additional charge of Zone 1,said.
