Missing diamond broker found murdered

A 21-year-old diamond broker from Opera House who was reported missing was found with his throat slit at Panchgani. The victim,Hardik Moradiya,a resident of Virar,was reported missing on November 17. Moradiya had diamonds worth around Rs 1 crore when he went missing.

A missing person complaint was registered by the victim’s brother at D B Marg police station. Once the body was recovered,the case was transferred to the D B Marg Police by the Panchgani Police. “We have registered a case of kidnapping,murder and destruction of evidence against unidentified persons,” said senior police inspector Ajit Surve of D B Marg police station.
