Man dies as slab falls on him

“After we received information about the collapse,a team was sent there and did a panchnama of the place. We have learnt that there may have been negligence on the part of the persons working there. We are in the process of registering a case under Section 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) of the IPC,” senior police inspector D K Rupawate of Oshiwara police said.

Rupawate revealed that police are on the lookout for three persons who may have been responsible.

“It is too early to comment as we are still probing the case. If proof of any negligence is found,we will arrest whoever is responsible,” Rupawate said.
