Homework,sweet homework

The first benefit of homework is it allows students and teachers to work more closely.

The first benefit of homework is it allows students and teachers to work more closely. Students can discuss assignments or problems with teachers. The second benefit is it can bring families closer as students may ask parents or siblings for help. Homework also provides students the opportunity to practice what it takes to be successful in school.

Finally,it allows parents to see how their children are being educated and they can develop a better idea of how they can help their child.

Homework is something that every successful student does every day. It is something that will never go out of fashion whether you win a trophy,a medal or not. Children complain of the increasing amount of homework these days. They are beginning to get complacent and leave their homework incomplete. Homework benefits students and not teachers. The objective of assigning homework is to increase the knowledge and improve the abilities and skills of students. Homework increases your knowledge, vocabulary and mathematics. Homework does more good than harm.

One of our best friends during our academic journey is homework. People go to coaching classes but if you do your homework regularly, you don’t require any class — no waste of time or money. You can do everything on your own and do not require extra help and can use your precious time to do any work to the best of your capabilities. As we say, practice makes a man perfect,in the same way, homework bring the best out of a student.

There are students who think homework is an added burgen. Homework helps build concentration, improve handwriting, protect mind from wrong things.

Homework does only good.

Homework allows students to test themselves,to find out if they misunderstood or forgot what they have learned. It also allows teachers to understand a student’s weakness, which in turn gives students a chance to improve and acquire new skills. In brief, the amount of homework should fit the age of the child, with younger children receiving less and older children receiving more. Homework is a valuable tool to help children remember what they learn.

Excessive homework,on the other hand, has negative effects. If parents and educators make sure that children don’t are not loaded with homework, then it does more good than harm.

There are many benefits of homework. If we complete our homework and submit it on time, then we get marks and appreciation. Also,it helps us prepare for exams so we don’t have to study much during exam days. This is one of the benefits.

Homework is good but too much of it is not good. Excessive homework means we will not have time for other activities like swimming, running, playing cricket, football, etc. These activities are also important for proper development of all of us especially in these growing years.

‘HOMEWORK’ — the minute teachers say it,students’ expressions change. Why? Students take homework as a burden and do it just for the sake of it or because of fear of punishment. Students don’t understand, however, that homework is for our own good.

Doing homework properly in the given time and with complete concentration helps us during exams. As exams draw near,we tend to learn things by rote,we don’t even bother to undertant what kind of answer does a particular question require.

If students have done their homework properly, they will never be in the tricky situation during exam. Homework is not a burden, but it’s a practice for our exams.

Teachers and parents have debated the benefits of homework for years as the very word evokes negative connotations. Although many people think of homework as doing more harm than good, others believe it has great advantages for children as it encourages them to think more independently outside the classroom.

The first benefit of homework is that students and teachers can discuss their assignments or problems that they are having with parts of their textbooks, before or after classes.

The second benefit is that it can bring families closer as students may ask their parents or siblings for help in their homework.

Thirdly, homework prepares students for the big final tests.

It is said that the best phase of a person’s life are school days. According to elders, student life is filled with fun, friends, teachers, vacations and so on. However, there is an important thing they forget to mention — homework.

Homework is a word mostly hated by students. According to them, homework is stressful,as they don’t get enough time for themselves. They complain about it and misunderstand the good intentions of teachers who give them homework.

What they don’t know is that homework has its advantages. A child who doesn’t do homework gets comparatively less marks than those who do. This is because that homework is like revision. It contributes more in studies and grades. It is also a way to learn time and stress management. After all, both are essential.

Therefore,we can conclude that homework does more good than harm.

In different grades, homework has different effects on students.

In lower grades, homework is not essential but as a child goes to higher grades,it is proven that students who do more homework achieve higher scores.

Again,as I said earlier, grade level is the key. If we don’t revise,we soon forget the things we learnt and learning is of no use if we can’t remember what we learnt.

Homework allows students to test themselves and build their confidence. It also brings students and teachers to work more closely by discussing problems.

Further, the bond between parents and children grows stronger. Whenever the child is stuck with his homework,he will take the help of his parents or siblings. This allows them to get more involved in the child’s education.

Doing ones homework is also a great way to develop responsibilities. By being assigned work one day and knowing that it has to be done by the next day,the child develops a sense of punctuality by submitting his work on time.

In brief, the amount of homework should fit the age of a child, with younger children receiving less and older children receiving moderately more. It only has negative effects if it is excessive.

Regular homework helps us revise what we learn in the class, before we can start learning new subjects or ideas.

Homework ensures that we don’t face extra burden during exam days as there are many chapters/lessons to revise. It will be hard for us to do everything at the same time.

If one does homework, his confidence and body language will improve and he/she will be fearless regarding studies .

If we do homework,it will be lifelong knowledge. Otherwise,we may tend to forget classwork after some time.

With our lifelong knowledge we will be ready for a surprise test, quiz or competition and we will always be counted among the best students .

Thus, regular homework helps make students brighter and intelligent. It creates better students, individuals and citizens.

So,HOMEWORK does more good than HARM.

“Shashank, don’t laze around, you have lots of homework to complete”. This is usually what my mom says every evening after I am back from school. All the time there is homework in some subject or the other. Our ability to gather and organise necessary material to complete the assignments,to return the assignment and receive a grade strengthens our sense of responsibilities.

Through homework parents know what is taught in school. Homework teaches us essential skills in life such as organisation, prioritising, independence and all the things we need to learn to be successful in life. Homework helps teachers determine how well the lessons are understood by us. Homework does more good than harm is definitely true provided teachers of different subjects ensure that homework in all subjects is not given at the same time. If the homework itself is given in a planned manner, children will definitely stand to gain.
