Hip Hop Hurray

After winning the Indian Hip Hop Championship held at Island Grounds in Chennai recently,Nalasopara-based crew of Suresh ‘N’ Vernon (SNV) will now compete at the World Hip Hop Dance Championships. Scheduled to take place in Las Vegas,US,from July 31 to August 5,the team will be up against the best talent from over 40 countries. In 2011,the group — best known for mixing stunts with dance steps — won the top award on the show,India’s Got Talent 3. The 11-member team,which has also been winners on other performance-based shows such as Boogie Woogie and Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega (Season One),is now headed to the 12th edition of the annual championship. With prize money of $ 20,000 on stake,one can expect fierce competition.
