Ghosalkar murder: Noronha’s bodyguard sent to judicial custody

AMRINDER SINGH, the bodyguard of Mauris Noronha who allegedly shot dead former corporator Abhishek Ghosalkar before killing himself, was produced before a court that remanded him to judicial custody.

Noronha had used Singh’s firearm to kill Ghosalkar, due to which Singh had been booked under sections of the Arms Act. His lawyer said that in a day they will be approaching the Sessions court to seek his bail.

The police said Singh was not involved in the conspiracy.

The incident took place on Thursday in IC Colony area of Borivali, following which a murder case was registered.
