Festival needs

Corporators have lashed out at the civic administration for its failure to provide dustbins,at least in select wards,during the ongoing festival season. Officials said there had been a demand for dustbins in Byculla,Fort,Nagpada and nearby areas,where Ramzan celebrations are on. Congress corporator Waqarunnisa Ansari said,“The Ramzan festival is almost over and yet the BMC has not supplied us with dustbins. There is an urgent need of dustbins in areas such as Bhindi Bazaar,where food waste is thrown on roads.”
