BJP president Amit Shah has urged the cabinet ministers to set aside a specific day every fortnight or week to address the concerns of the people in their respective constituencies and home districts.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has started an initiative to hold regular interactions with the people of his constituency. He said the programme, “Samadhan Setu”, would be extended to other constituencies soon.
“The Samadhan Setu will be a bridge to find answers to the people’s problems,” he said. Officials from local bodies would also be present during the interaction to listen to the people’s grievances and provide solution.
During the first interaction, he claimed to have managed to solve problems of 2,000 people. Fadnavis promised to continue the process during the next meeting. “In my absence in the city, I have retained a complete office where everybody is welcome to report their problems and get help,” he said.
