The 37th Gunidas Sangeet Sammelan will roll out a four-day celebration of classical Indian music from December 5. The event,which has an impressive line-up,will commence with a performance by the talented brothers from Benaras gharana,Sanjeev and Ashwani Shankar. Followed by this,vocalist Subhra Guha and Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia will present their pieces. Day two of the festival will have performances by Dhananjay Dhaithankar on Santoor,vocalist Shubha Mudgal and Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt on Mohan Veena. Pandit Jasraj is expected to be the main attraction on day three while Pandit Suhas Vyas will take to the stage on the following day. The event will culminate with a sarangi duet by Sabir and Dilshad Khan of Sikar gharana who will share the stage with tabla legend Ustad Zakir Hussain.
