Trust Farah Khan to do things differently. It really did not come as a surprise when she planned the music launch of her forthcoming film Tees Maar Khan on a train. The cast and crew along with the mediapersons boarded a special train at CST which took them to Lonavala. On board were Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif along with Farah, producer Shirish Kunder and music composers Vishal-Shekhar. Katrina, who has lost oodles of weight for the film, looked elegant in a little red number. Akshay was in a blue kaftan styled shirt, which he has been sporting in the promos as well. There were several performances by the composers to entertain the audience during the journey. The film crew received a warm welcome at the Lonavala station, where fans were eagerly awaiting Akshay and Katrina to alight.

Showstopper The bratty Akshay, who entertained everyone with his witty one-liners and tapori style jig.

Modern Take
Misunderstood for being the wife of five men and rarely allowed to voice her side of the story,Draupadi finally got on stage at NCPA to tell her tale. Former model Shivani Wazir Pasrich portrayed Draupadi in the eponymous play, directed by Tina Johnson. Can’t say what’s the draw — the subject or Shivani’s Bollywood connection — the play was attended by the city’s glitterati including Kumarmangalam Birla,Pamela and Yash Chopra,Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra,Suhasini Mulay,Lillette and Ravi Dubey,Dipika Roy and Tina Tahiliani.

Showstopper Swaying dresses by Ritu Kumar, pleasing music by Shubha Mudgal added spark to the show.
