Shroff,who owns Dragonfly at Express Towers,retails cakes,biscuits and pastries from a pantry situated close to the watering hole. “While free delivery is applicable to customers living up to Worli,we can deliver beyond at a charge,” she confirms. To order,all that you need to do is send them an e-mail and they will get back. Wedding orders must be placed almost two months in advance,while other things can be delivered within two days.

The website is neatly organised with different sections for corporate functions,weddings,birthday parties and catering orders. It has a section called ‘Our Products’ which gives you a detailed list of what they deliver. “We take orders for cupcakes in various flavours,wedding cakes,highly decorative cakes,desserts and savouries,as well as catering,” she says.

While custom-made cakes are her niche,she also specialises in cookies and biscuits. “Cupcakes and biscuits make excellent gifts for clients and enhance any event. We can also add the company colours or logos and customise it in a way so that they make excellent promotional items,” says Shroff,who also bakes fresh breads like focaccia,ciabatta and quiches.

Shroff’s next step is to make the service available across cities and also abroad. “Then the next step for me would be to have a shop so people can pick up the products,” Shroff says.
