Boy crushed under truck

A five-year-old boy was crushed to death by a cement mixer truck in central Mumbai’s Saat Rasta area on Saturday. Sohail Shaikh residing in hutments behind Sitaram Mills was crushed while crossing a street. “We have arrested Prakash Khadse (40),the driver and charged him under Section 279 (rash driving) and 304 (causing death by negligence) of the IPC,” an officer said.
