According to the complaint, Singh’s manager alleged that he began receiving life-threatening calls and messages through WhatsApp and regular phone calls from December 6, 2025. Bhojpuri singer-actor Pawan Singh has allegedly received threatening calls and messages from a person claiming to be member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Singh’s manager submitted a written complaint at the Oshiwara police station, stating that the caller warned the actor against working with or sharing screen space with Bollywood actor Salman Khan, and threatened “severe consequences” if he did so.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Dixit Gedam confirmed that the complaint has been received and that police are conducting an inquiry to identify the caller. The incident comes a day after Singh announced on social media that he would be performing with Salman Khan at the Bigg Boss 19 finale, posting that he would join “Bhaijaan” on the grand finale stage.
According to the complaint, Singh’s manager alleged that he began receiving life-threatening calls and messages through WhatsApp and regular phone calls from December 6, 2025. Two calls were received at 10.48 pm and 10.50 pm on December 6, followed by two more at around 7.13 pm and 7.15 am on December 7. The complainant further stated that another team member also received a threatening message on WhatsApp at 10.07 pm on December 7.
The caller allegedly claimed in the calls and messages that he was associated with the “Lawrence Bishnoi gang” and issued a strict warning that Singh should not work with or share screen space with Salman Khan. The complaint also alleges that the caller demanded money and created extreme fear, stress and mental pressure on Singh’s team. Due to the continuous threats, the manager and team members are said to be living under constant fear and insecurity.
Seeking immediate and strict legal action against the unknown persons involved, the manager has also requested police protection to avert any untoward incident. Mumbai Police said they have not provided any protection so far and are inquiring into the matter.
