Man jumps off hospital,dies
A 45-year-old man committed suicide by jumping off the second storey of King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital,Parel,in the early hours on Monday. Badiram Daulatram Bhawal was admitted to the medicine ward for fever. Resident Medical Officer of KEM Hospital,Dr Pravin Bangar,said the body had been sent for autopsy. The hospital has filed a case with the Bhoiwada police.

Three more die of monsoon diseases
Three people have died of monsoon diseases,taking the total death toll in the city to 32 this month. A 42-year-old man from Dadar and a 32-year-old man from Chembur succumbed to malaria Sunday. Meanwhile,a 17-year-old youth from Byculla died of dengue.
