Sena Bhavan gets hoax bomb threat

The Sena Bhavan at Shivaji Park received two bomb hoax calls on Wednesday noon. The caller said a bomb was planted at Sena Bhavan which would detonate within half an hour. The area was cordoned off immediately and the BDDS reached. The area was declared safe after nothing suspicious was found, said sub-inspector S Yadav of the Shivaji Park police station.

Senior citizens to hold nationwide protest

Senior citizens have called for a national protest on August 16 at Azad Maidan to highlight their welfare concerns. Calling it a Black Day,all the senior citizens have been asked to actively participate by wearing a black bands or taking part in a rally,procession,human chain or submission of memorandum to local MPs and MLAs.
