A WEEK after seven accused arrested in the Adarsh housing society scam were granted bail by the special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court, the two others also moved bail applications.

Both have been in jail since their arrest on April 3.

“They have been behind bars for 60 days and the chargesheet has not been filed yet. The application is filed on similar grounds as other accused, who were released on bail by the court last week,” said Phatak’s lawyer Swapna Kode. The matter will be heard on Wednesday.

Last week, the CBI court granted bail to seven of the other accused on the same grounds.
