Once in my dream, the world turned upside down. The youngsters became adults, while the adults turned into children. The first thing I remember doing in the dream was criticise my mother. I shouted,Why dont you study hard? Do you know that you are in the 10th standard and you need to perform well? Then I heard a knock on the door. It was my father who had just returned from school. His clothes were shabby and his nails had grown like rabbits teeth. I screamed at him,You played throughout the day and now come home in this condition. Have you lost your mind? Suddenly,I heard the voice of my mother, shouting at me,telling me to get up. Perplexed,I looked at watch and it was past 6 am and time to get out of bed.

Of the various competitions,I prefer debates. I rather look forward to them. Once, the topic of such a competition was Indian culture vs Western. The night before,I was ready to rock the dais. For the final time,I glanced at the sheet at the study table and kept it by my bedside before going off to sleep.
The day of the debate, and I walked up to the podium. I held the mike and began. Suddenly,Diptesh Sir stood up and interrupted me. I froze, gasping for breath. It felt as if I was a convict in the court of Dr. Diptesh. I had butterflies in my stomach. The next moment,to my relief,I woke up,although shaken. I had never thought a dream could shake my confidence to this extent.

Only if a person dreams can he can try achieve them. A few weeks ago,I dreamt that I was sleeping on the ground. I noticed that the ground was usual but I felt lighter. Then I saw the earth at a distance and I realised that I was on the moon. I could jump high. Then I heard a familiar sound. Instantly,I realised that it was the alarm. I was late. I rushed and finally,I was able to board the bus but I could not forget the dream I had.

In my dream,I was lost in the woods. I kept walking straight, looking for help. Suddenly,I saw a woman on horse with a gun approaching me. She asked me if I was lost. I said yes and tried to ask for directions. Instead of giving me the directions, she asked me to sit on the horse behind her and dashed to the deep dark forest. She stopped the horse suddenly and I fell. I got up but she was gone. I found myself at what looked like a gate from where I could get out of the forest. Then I woke up.

One day,I dreamt I was in a strange new world. I did not know my way around. I was dressed in my night suit and held my toy tightly. All was white.
I met a group of kids my age. They told me I was on an undiscovered planet named Zeal. People were dressed in white, their hair was white. Trees had white leaves. The soil was shining like pearls. The houses were made of white stones. I still remember the dream because it left a lasting impression.

I was sitting in front of Amitabh Bachhan on KBC. I answered all the questions and was close to the Rs 5-crore question. I was happy as I knew the answer to that question. I won and became a millionaire. Then, patiently I decided to spend the money on many things like helping the needy, giving some for charity. I wanted to see the beauty of this planet so my family and I went to places such as Egypt,Australia,Singapore,Mauritius,France,Europe, and Spain. We shopped there and visited many places. I was happy. We even watched 3D movie,4D movies and 7D movies. On our way back,as we were landing,I felt a sudden thud and woke up. I realised it was a beautiful and an unforgettable dream.

The dream I had last night was unimaginable. I saw the world in 2050. The people were fast and could complete a two-day task in an hour. They had advanced technology to make their life more comfortable than today. But as the saying goes,Each coin has two sides, they used technology to destroy and cheat others for their greed. They had nuclear power that could kill many. I also saw robots working as household servants. Supercomputers were the size of peas. What a dream it was. Anyway,I am happy with my present.

It was a dark, scary night,Bats were all around. I started walking slowly and timidly. Then I came at a fork on the road. I was confused; which way to go? After thinking a lot,I selected a route and started walking on that route. That way was much strange sometimes it grew wider and sometimes it became narrow. With great difficulty,I crossed the way. Then I came in front of a bungalow which was whitewashed. It was raining so I was searched for a shelter. I then decided to go inside. Then suddenly,I heard a voice: Wake up,its already 6 am. My mom splashed some water on me and I woke up.

My heart beat faster than usual. I cried out to my mother but in vain. It was an ant under a tray that befriended me and helped. I climb the tray, which seemed like a cliff and if I lost my balance,I would have been gone. Thankfully,I landed inside a bag. As I tried to get out of the bag, could hear explain chemical compounds and ions. I was in the chemistry lab! But how? I could see my classmates. I froze. I was on a platform, trying to communicate with them but all efforts were worthless. I saw the contents of a test tube flowing towards me. I thought I was going to be burnt. Surprisingly,I got dissolved. Marvellous! The movment of atoms that I saw only in textbook was now clearly visible. Ions bonding and and the chemical reactions it was mesmerising.
My partner was trying to wake me up after my Physics teacher asked me to repeat his explaination of combination of molecules. Everyone laughed even when I was in the principals room. Shameless, everyone said.

I longed to go to Assam or Europe for my holidays but my father decided not to. I was very disappointed. The school was going to start and so I applied for the Homi Bhabha science competition. I worked hard and got my reward. I won the competition and got a prize which was Rs 50 lakh. Coincidently,I had read in the newspapers that famous industrialist Richard Branson would take anybody who paid him Rs 50 lakh to Mars. I pleaded with my father to let me go on this trip. So he got my finances in place and I caught the flight from Mumbai to New York. Then started my journey from the Earth to Mars. My dog Bruno and I were all set to go in space. As the countdown started,my heartbeat also increased. NASA had objected to Bruno going, but agreed to let him go later. I was proud that as I was going to be the first man on Mars and Bruno, the first animal. My spacecraft took off and with it grew my excitement and fear. As time passed,we reached space. We saw millions of stars and planets. When we reached the red planet,I was amazed at its beauty. Bruno made a bed to rest in the red soil. We both played and had fun touring the planet. All of a sudden,I heard a voice from behind a rock. Aliens,I thought. I took a closer look and saw the famous green aliens. We went closer and on seeing them, got scared. We were in awe. The aliens, too, were terrified on seeing us. After some time,I said hello and they replied in their language. One of the Martians came forward to shake my hands. I had never thought this would happen. I had carried some friendship bands with me and tied one on the wrist of the Martian. It was an adventurous journey and an unforgettable dream.
