The Mumbai Police Crime Branch on Monday arrested five youths for their alleged involvement in attacking two other youths with choppers in separate offences registered at Khar and Bandra police stations. According to the police,in both cases the gang had some previous disputes with the victims.

These accused are involved in two separate offences. On March 7,a college student named Mohsin Shaikh and his girlfriend were sitting at Carter Road in Bandra, when the accused spotted him and attacked him with choppers. During interrogations, the accused claimed that Moshin was involved in harassing a girl known to them, said Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Rakesh Maria.
Earlier on February 22,Sanjay Nath Bamania alias Sethi and a couple of friends were standing at Bandra market, when the accused came and attacked them with choppers. This attack was motivated by some former dispute between the two groups, and to gain some sort of dominance, said Maria.
