47 degree Celsius: Nagpur records hottest summer day

Nagpur experienced the hottest day of this summer Saturday registering a blistering 47.1 degree Celsius.
Brahmapuri in Chandrapur district was also equally hot while Chandrapur recorded 46.6 degrees.

The entire Vidarbha region has been reeling under severe heat wave over the past fortnight with most districts experiencing temperatures above 40 degrees.

Wardha (46.5), Akola (44.6), Amaravti (44.2) and Yavatmal (44) were the other districts facing extreme heat.
