Verka staff stage protest

Employees of Verka Milk plant on Thursday sat on a dharna on Thursday to protest against the general manager of the milk plant.

The employees union leader,Sukhdev Singh alleged that the GM was implicating the employees in false cases and was harassing them. The employees have been booked in various cheating cases.

The union members said that all the charges levelled against them were wrong. The members after the duty hours did a gate rally for about an hour to express their resentment.
