Public speaking events held in GADVASU youth fest

The brain storming events were held on Monday during the ongoing Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University Youth Festival.

The brain storming events were held on Monday during the ongoing Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University Youth Festival. The day was for debate,elocution,extempore,quiz,poetry recitation and haas ras poetry.

Darshan Singh Aulakh,organising secretary of the festival,said that in morning session debate,elocution,extempore competition was held. Total 10 students participated among them five were girls and five boys. The topic for debate was Whether the development of any society causes deterioration or not. The topic for elocution was we are living a robotic life.

Kuldeep Singh,Additional Commissioner,Municipal Corporation was chief guest of the afternoon session. Three colleges of university participated in these competitions.

Khalsa College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences,Amritsar also participated in both the competitions.

P N Dwivedi,convener of literary items committee,said that events of this category have been completed.

The results of all competitions will be on declared on the final day of youth festival. Tomorrows competitions will be creative writing and photography.

The venue of these events will be Seminar Hall,Silver Jubilee Block,Ground floor,Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University.
