Missing girls found,rape suspected

The police on Wednesday traced two minor girls who had gone missing recently. In the first incident,a 14-year-old girl,who was kidnapped on November 14 from Bhora in Salem Tabri,was found at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar. The police,who suspect the victim had been raped,are waiting for the medical report. A case was registered following the statement of the brother of the victim,who alleged that one Deepa,a resident of Ashok Nagar,had abducted his sister. The accused is absconding. Though the girl was found on November 23,her medical examination was done on Wednesday due to shortage of staff. In the second incident,a 15-year-old girl — a resident of Jawahar Nagar — who was abducted two days ago,was traced on Wednesday and the accused,Navrattan,arrested. SHO of Division Number 5,Dharampal said “medical examination of the girl has been done and the report is awaited.”
