Mini bus overturns,17 injured

A mini bus,used by a mill company to transport its workers,overturned near Mundian village on Monday,injuring 17,most of whom were women. The incident reportedly occurred at about 8.25am on Monday morning when the driver,in a bid to save a motorcyclist,had to take a sharp turn resulting in the bus turning turtle. The injured were immediately rushed to the nearby Civil Hospital from where six have been referred to the Christian Medical College and Hospital. Those admitted in CMC have been identified as Kulwant Singh who has suffered a serious head injury, Mahender Kaur,Kuldip Kaur,Suman, Kulwant Singh,Veero and Bhuvnesh.
