Mika courts controversy,again

The latest addition is the police complaint lodged against Mika by a local television reporter who had to face abuse by Mika after he asked Mika about Raakhi Sawant. Mika was in the town recently for promotion of his film Mitti at a local multiplex. While coming out of the press meet,Mika was put forth query about Raakhi Sawant. Even during the press conference which was held inside one of the auditoriums,Mika tried to dominate the entire meet despite the fact that along with other star cast of the film,the director of the film was also present at the meet.

The SHO,Sarabha Nagar police station,Beant Juneja,when contacted,informed,“A complaint against Mika was lodged with the SSP,Dr Sukhchain Singh Gill who has marked it to us. We will first record the statement of the complainant,see the tapes and then call Mika.”

Mika’s manager,Kamlajeet Singh meanwhile refused to comment on the issue. When contacted,he said,“Mika is at the airport and boarding a flight to Mumbai hence I can not speak to the media.” When asked about the controversy,Singh said,“I do not know about this as I was not in Ludhiana yesterday.”

The latest controversy adds to the long list of controversies that Mika has courted in the recent past. Some of these include misbehaviour with his co-stars in the reality show Mujhe Is Jangal se bachao and the most recent over-the-top attitude during a musical reality show currently on air. Mika is the younger brother of well-known singer Daler Mehndi. Of late,Mika’s name is also associated with some hit background songs like Maujan hi Maujan from film “Jab we met,” “Hadippa” and even the music of film “Mitti” which is getting rave reviews.
