Mehendi contest held

DAV Centenary Public School,Phillaur,organised Mehndi competition on Thursday on the occasion of Karva Chauth in which girls from senior classes participated.

Vibha and Khuswinder got the first prize,Barkha and Simran Verma were given second prize while third prize went to Harsharan Kaur. A consolation prize went to Anmol Bhandari. A talent search competition was also held under the name The Uddan.

Students participated in various competitions like fancy dress,dances on Hindi and Punjabi pop songs,advertisements,role of serial characters,couple dance and modelling. All the students gave good performances.

Students who got first,second and third prizes were given trophies. Yogesh Gambhir,principal of the school,while giving away prizes and certificates to the participants encouraged them to continue performing on stage.
