Lee showroom opens
LUDHIANA:Exclusive store of denim brand Lee opened at Mall road on Tuesday. MP Manish Tewari inaugurated the showroom,which is built on 570 square feet area and has collection of jeans,shirts,T-shirts and other accessories from Lee. The brand has over 100 stores across the country and the company plans to open more such stores by the end of this year.

Certificates distributed
LUDHIANA:A certificate distribution function was organised at Government Model Senior Secondary School,PAU,in which the students were given away certificates of Punjab Infotech CAL-C. The three-month long programme was conducted by Punjab Infotech in the ICT Labs,The chief guest on the occasion was Amarjeet Kaut,District Education Officer (secondary while District Coordinator (ICT) Jasbir Singh,District Co-ordinator (EduSat) Narinder Saggar,Assistant Distt Co-ordinator Daljeet Singh (ICT) were also present there. About 60 students got certificates.

Gurpurab celebrated
LUDHIANA:The birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev was celebrated with enthusiasm at Bal Bharti Public School on Tuesday. On this occasion,children recited shabads and offered special prayers. Punam Dogra,the school principal,wished happy gurpurab to the students and staff,and urged them to follow the path shown by Guru Nanak Dev.
