‘Armed men’ alert sends police into a tizzy
An information received by the police control room that some suspicious men with arms were seen roaming near Welcome Palace on Malhar Road sent the police of Division No. 5 into a tizzy. SP City-1 Harsh Kumar Bansal,when contacted,said,“Our control room had received this information but by the time our men reached the spot they could not find any such person. We were told that some men carrying weapons were seen moving about in this area.”

Danga Peerat Welfare Society has decried to gherao the Doabia Commission constituted by Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (DGPC) to investigate recent incidents in the city because of the congregation organised by Aashutosh Majrah. Addressing the press conference,Surjeet Singh,president of the society,said,“To appoint a commission like this is mere a drama by DSGPC. We will gherao the commission on its visit to the city on December 19 and ask Paramjit Singh Sarna,president of DSGPC,as to what is common between him and Congress party?
