‘Environment week’ celebrated

Ryan International School celebrated . The students of classes IV and V painted the town green by participating in the cycle rally. Various competitions like plantation drive,badge making,fancy dress competition and solo dance competition etc were also held on the occasion. Students reflected their sensitivity towards environmental degradation by following simple principles like “Say no to plastic/polythene bags”,‘Using eco-friendly things” etc. A poster-making competition was also held in which the students portrayed their ideas to save “Mother Earth”. Gurpreet Kaur Sandhu,the school principal,explained to the children about importance of clean environment.
