Residents of Urban Estate on Thursday rued that development works for different areas, especially in Ward No. 60 had yet not been started although they had been approved by the Chief Minister during the Sangat Darshan programmes.

MIG Welfare Society in Phase II,Urban Estate,Dugri, strongly condemned the indifferent attitude of the councillor and Cabinet Minister Hira Singh Gabria, elected from this area. “Both these persons have never shown any interest in the area except making false and fraudulent promises to the area residents and serving their self interests. These persons remained invisible in the area throughout the elections days and even now they are out of touch with this ward,“ said Kuldeep Singh Kreer, general secretary of the association.

One and half month has been passed since stones were kept at different places in the MIG Colony,Ph-II,for metalling the roads, but no work started as yet. This is causing traffic problems hazard as well,Kreer said adding that those responsible for delay in work should be hauled up.
