After film stars,it’s now time for Bollywood’s fashion designers to dazzle the small screen,starting with Vikram Phadnis,who has dressed up celebrities like SRK,Salman Khan,Priyanka Chopra,Aishwariya Rai Bachchan,Sushmita Sen et al. The designer will now be seen dressing up the cast of NDTV Imagine’s Basera produced by Sagar Arts. Every costume designed by Phadnis for the show reflects the role played by each character,hailing from different provinces of India. Says Vikram,“I have designed costumes for numerous films but TV is something absolutely new for me. I am really looking forward to this as a new challenge. Moreover,Basera has an array of characters. Designing clothes for each character in keeping with the role is really interesting.” Follow Basera every Monday – Friday at 9:30 p.m on NDTV Imagine.
