3 held for theft,sent

The Ludhiana police on Sunday busted a gang of juveniles wanted in theft cases by arresting three accused.

The accused are residents of Sanjay Gandhi Colony and are aged between 15 and 17. The court sent them to juvenile home on Monday.

Inspector Sumit Sood,SHO at police station division number 7,said the police arrested the accused when they were trying to sell the stolen articles. An LCD television,one DVD player and one laptop were recovered which,as per police,they stole from the house of Ashok Kumar of Sector 32-A,Chandigarh road,on June 14. The SHO said the accused claimed it was their first burglary attempt.
