Serving the society since the age when one is lost in childhood fun, two professional magicians were given the National Youth Award 2012-13 on Sunday, along with 30 others who are working on various social issues.
One of them is a 16-year-old student, who, since age of 9, is fighting against black magic and other evils. The other is a 29-year-old woman, who first experienced magic at the age of five.
The 16-year-old, Chinta Mohith Nager Satya Krishna, hailing from East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh, has been using his tricks to educate villagers against black magic and superstitions.
Kruti Subhash Parekh, a 29-year-old from Mumbai and the first test tube baby of India, has been using her magic to create awareness on environmental issues and also training blind, deaf and dumb children to learn magic.
