Vivid Strokes

Paintings by Sunil Saxena comprising the Lavanya in Nature series,on display at the State Lalit Kala Akademi,Lal Baradari,Qaiserbagh,present unity in diversity. “I have used similar strokes to etch different moods and moments in the series,” says the artist,adding,Lavanya stands for charm and attraction and he has tried to bring out the charm in the various facets of life through his work. Saxena is associate professor and head of the Drawing and Painting department in the Government Girls’ Post Graduate College in Ghazipur. The exhibition is on till December 28.
