The UP Technical University (UPTU) is introducing a new system for redressing the examination-related problems of the students from this academic session. The university will organise camps on its Lucknow campus every month.
The authorities of engineering and management colleges from across the state will attend the camps to get the complaints of their students resolved.
The examination-related problems students generally face include misprinting of marks and other information on marksheets, missing of examination
application forms and delay in issuance of admit cards or marksheets.
The camps will help those students, who travel from different parts of the state to Lucknow with
their complaints. Now it would be responsibility of the college authorities to get the problems of their students resolved, a UPTU official said.
The camps will begin from July onwards and at least 30 colleges will participate in each camp. Each complaint will be registered online and allocated a particular number. Students can take their complaint number from their colleges and inquire online.
