UP: Man held for ‘beating up, urinating on teen boy’

According to the FIR, the student was returning home after distributing sweets among relatives on November 13 when he was abducted and beaten up at an isolated place.

A 21-year-old man was arrested for allegedly abducting, beating up and then urinating on the face of a Class 12 student in Meerut on November 13. The police said a search was on for three other accused named in an FIR registered on November 16 on the basis of a complaint by the teenaged youth’s father

“Ashish Malik was arrested on Sunday and was granted bail by a court on Monday. Raids are underway to nab three other accused – Avi Sharma, Ashish Malik and Mohit Thakur, all aged between 20 and 22. The incident was a fallout of a drunken brawl among friends,” said Piyush Singh, Superintendent of Police (Meerut city).

According to the FIR, the student was returning home after distributing sweets among relatives on November 13 when he was abducted and beaten up at an isolated place. He was admitted to a hospital for two days, sources said.
