Two commit suicide in Lucknow

A 19-year-old youth,Abhishek Dubey,allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a fan at his Talkatora home in Lucknow on Wednesday evening. No suicide note has been found. Abhishek was pursuing BPharma from a private institute in Lucknow.

“His family told us that Abhishek was looking upset since morning and had locked himself inside his room since afternoon. It could not be ascertained why he took such an extreme step,” said Sudhir Pal Dhama,Station Officer,Talkatora police station. Meanwhile,a 23-year-old woman was also found hanging from a hook at the house where she was working as domestic help in Lucknow’s Cant area. No suicide note was found.

Sulaami,a native of Jharkhand,was working at the house of one Neeraj Bajaj,a businessman,for the last two years. “We have been informed that the woman was mentally disturb. She was found wearing three sets of dresses,” said Kuldeep Kumar,in-charge of Cant police station.
