Three more die in floods

Three persons died in flood-related incidents in Uttar Pradesh,where all major rivers have crossed the danger mark. Two children died in the Gonda district as one-and-a-

half-km breach in Charsari embankment in Parsawal left about 86 villages inundated. Another person died as a roof collapsed in Azamgarh on Tuesday night. “A national rapid response team has been deployed to carry out relief and rescue work in 24 villages,” said District Magistrate Madhukar Dwiwedi. According to Central Water Commission,Ganga,Ramganga,Yamuna,Sharda,Ghaghara and Rapti were all flowing above the danger mark.
