Third PIL filed against BSP MLA

A PIL was filed on Friday before the Allahabad High Court against BSP MLA from Karchana,Anand Kumar alias Collector Pandey,seeking directives for the district authorities to demolish a college that was constructed on a plot that was supposed to be a pond.

A PIL was filed on Friday before the Allahabad High Court against BSP MLA from Karchana,Anand Kumar alias Collector Pandey,seeking directives for the district authorities to demolish a college that was constructed on a plot that was supposed to be a pond.

This is the third PIL to be filed against Pandey,who recently courted controversy over unveiling a statue of his father. The petition is likely to be taken up by the court next week.

The PIL,filed by one Bheem,a resident of Meja area in Allahabad,alleges that Pandey used his influence to get a degree college constructed on a plot that was marked as a pond in revenue records.

According to the PIL,the plot,gata No. 335,was recorded as a talab in the revenue records but Pandey allegedly took advantage of his position as a ruling party MLA and got his name recorded in collusion with local administration officials and,subsequently,got a college constructed by the name of Indra Kali Degree College.

The petition has pleaded that the district magistrate be ordered to demolish the structure and restore the plot as a pond,which was its original character.
