Sufiyan’s century in Bhardwaj cricket

An unbeaten century by Sufiyan Khan helped LDA Coaching Centre in defeating St. Ann’s Cricket Academy by 93 runs in the semi-final match of the 3rd RD Bhardwaj Memorial Cricket Tournament,in Lucknow on Thursday.

Batting first,LDACC mustered 233 runs losing five wickets in the given 40 overs,thanks to responsible batting efforts by Sufiyan Khan (115 not out) and Adi Singh (59).

In reply,St. Ann’s was bowled out at a total of 140 runs. Besides openers Vineet Singh (50) and Shashank Simon (45),no other batsman could stay at the crease for long. Chetan bowled economically and also took three wickets while Ajay and Anoop claimed two wickets each.
