STF arrests runaway criminal

The Uttar Pradesh STF arrested an alleged member of the Bawariya gang,who was carrying a reward of Rs 50,000 on his head,from Subhash Nagar area of Bareilly district yesterday night.

The accused,Moin,was wanted in loot and murder cases,including a couple’s murder that took place in Lucknow last year. Moin was on the run since he escaped from judicial custody,after jumping from a speeding train in Bijnore district while being taken to the Saharanpur district jail from Kashipur (Uttarakhand) in December last year.
