“I have registered my remarks with Sushma Swaraj and now I am waiting for the Newtonian equal and opposite reaction…it is an internal matter and we will resolve it,thank you very much,” said the actor,taking the moment to reaffirm his North Indian roots. “It was Bihar Diwas yesterday and our family went to Patna Sahib to pay obeisance and we chose to bring Luv to Lucknow to meet the Press as his film Sadiyaan lines up for an April release.”

There was plan to launch Luv in a home production,but as fate would have it,Sinha-Jr was spotted at a party by director Raj Kanwar,who was only hits to his credit,from the Shahrukh Khan-Divya Bharti Deewana to the Akshay Kumar-Katrina Hum Ko Deewana Kar Gaye. “Raj Kanwar told me that he saw in Luv the James Dean kind of intensity he was looking for in his hero for this film based on a story revolving around Indians and Pakistanis. I heard the story and decided,there couldn’t be a

debut better than this,” said the star of innumerable hits from Kalicharan to Dostana. The cast of the new film,shot in Kashmir and parts of Pakistan,includes Rishi Kapoor,Hema Malini and Rekha.

“They are all friends of Papa and have seen me since I was born,” gushed Luv,adding they all gave him valuable tips on how to make a shot better.

“My advice to him was only to be better than the rest and if not better than at least different,” said Shatrughan Sinha,proving how this mantra made him successful with a case in point.

“You have seen even established actors mimicking me,but have you ever seen me mimic anyone?”

He has a film ready for release,Aaj Phir Jeene Ki Tamanna Hai,directed by Ramesh Talwar,in which he is cast opposite Rekha. His other son,Luv’s twin brother Kush,is training to be a director. And his daughter Sonakshi is debuting opposite Salman Khan in a film called Dabanng. But Shatrughan Sinha would talk or let talk about nothing other than Luv and Sadiyaan.

“I may not have Papa’s booming voice,but still from among the present lot,I think,my voice is the most impressive and that is my strong point,” said Luv,who also said he never wanted to be anything other than an actor.
